Holy Land

What a thrill to consider being in the Holy Land in just 2 months! I can only imagine walking in the places where Jesus chose to touch down on earth.  God has worked out our prayers to attend this Holy Land Experience through Jerusalem University College (www.juc.edu).  Understand that we are on a first come, first served basis and I have a total of 36 seats reserved.  Deposit of $187.00 will confirm each reservation.  We will be attending the 4C Pastor Parishioner Study Tour Spring 2010 Program.  The cost of $1,865.00 covers double room hotel, 3 meals a day, field trips, instructor remuneration, tips, site entrance fees etc.  This does not include airfare or personal expenses.  There is a suggested $65.00 fee for mapping materials and the study guide REGIONS ON THE RUN which will be used to prepare our group prior to April, 2010.  In addition, you will receive a Historical Geography Notebook and Map Syllabus in Israel.  There is also a bus transfer fee from the airport in Jerusalem and back.  We will pass the hat for that.

As you are aware, Pastor Jim & Mary Carlson are to participate and provide insight on the tour.  If we go through MTS Travel, each 11 paying travelers will give the 12th tuition free.  We hope to use 2 free tuitions for Pastor Jim and Mary.  So far, traveling through MTS has checked out to be less expensive than Orbitz or Travelocity!

There will be requirements along the way for passports, health checks, study, deposits, airline tickets and final payment to JUC.  We are starting our first session on September 27, 2009 and meeting on the third Sunday of each month until March.

Again, the first question and answer session will be September 27, 2009 in the LRBC Library.

Joyfully,

TC Richardson

Mission Director
